I have been employed by Fugro N.V., a company that specialized in geo-research, and operates on a global scale. It is a company that is listed on the Dutch stock market. The function that I have is that off a Financial Administrator.

The accounting software that is used is Exact Globe. I supervise the general ledgers content on being correct and introduce the accounts payables, receivables, and bank statements. I also maintained the intercompany accounts, the VAT declarations to the Dutch IRS and fixed assets and depreciation on these.

I control the petty-cash, and in addition to this I prepare the payment of accounts payables. These are generally paid through the accounting system that exports them to an electronic payment file which in turn is send to the bank by means of online banking.
